Lots of cats and Pirozhok. Residents of a building unite to rescue homeless animals in the Perm region.

In the courtyard of a house on Neftyanikov Street in in the city of Chernushka Residents built a cat house, where their dog, Pirozhok, also lives. This was the decision made at a general meeting by the building's residents, who are currently struggling with ill-wishers.
It all started 12 years ago, when a puppy named Pirozhok and his friend Krasotka appeared in the yard. They were taken under the care of paramedic Olga Rypaleva. Three years ago, the dogs disappeared, and only Pirozhok returned, injured. The entire town gathered to help him undergo surgery. He was cured.
"We continued to nurse him back to health, and he's still living with us. He's a guard dog, protecting the entire property; not a single dog comes into our yard. He lives right on our landing, with a rug laid out just for him. We have wonderful neighbors!"- said Olga, Olga.
One of the residents opposed Pirozhok's stay in the building, but the neighbors united again: they microchipped the dog and got it vaccinated. The pensioner resigned herself to it.
The residents took things a step further: they held a meeting and decided to build a house for their outdoor cats. They raised 20 rubles and erected a two-story "mansion" with beds, scratching posts, toys, and litter boxes. The residents monitor their health, and the house and its surroundings are kept clean. But even this raised a problem: the cats' home adjoins the fence of a kindergarten, and management objected.
The residents are trying to resolve this issue as well, and in the meantime, they're looking for good homes for the cats. At 12 years old, Pirozhok needs treatment for his paw pain. He's receiving injections and his usual treats.
