"We've lost track of where we're coming: to God's temple or to a shooting range." Parishioners at a church in Balashikha, near Moscow, complained about a militaristic rector.

According to parishioners, the archpriest Vitaly Kuleshov, abbot Church of the Transfiguration in the village of Savvino, "turned sermons and religious services into a real demonstration of the military arsenal." 

Telegram channel "Orthodoxy and Zombies" publishes videos, one of which shows Kuleshov talking about the design of a tactical helmet, and another showing a bulletproof vest worn by a sexton.

"Frankly, we've lost track of where we're coming from: a church or a shooting range," people complain. "We come to pray, but we leave with a lecture on tactical training."

Previously in the Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Obukhovo, Moscow region noted "World Orthodox Youth Day": Children from the Dynamite military-patriotic center were forced to jump and perform exercises with mock weapons in hand right in front of the altar and icons. A decree was later issued dismissing the archpriest from his position as rector of the church. Sergiy Reshetnyak: "In connection with the violation of the instructions of the clergy."
